Butlins Holiday Camps History
Butlin’s Holiday Camps were set up by the late Billy Butlin in the 1930s to provide cheap family orientated holidays in the UK.� By the mid 1960s there was 9 camps across the country.� in the late 1990s all but 3 were closed.� The remaining parks in Bognor Regis, Minehead and Skegness went through multi million pound facelifts.
Butlins are fanous for their “Redcoats”.� Redcoats orgainise all the entertainment at the parks
