HAGGERSTON Castle Holiday Park part of haven holidays holiday parks has won a green award .  The park has won the  Silver Award in the Green Tourism Business Scheme, the biggest environmental accreditation body of tourism related businesses in Europe with over 500 members in the UK.
The latest accolade for the Haven Holidays’ resort comes as it prepares for a £10 million facelift including a new spa and completion of the first phase in a major gardening project to restore two acres of ornate walled gardens.

The 100-acre park, set in the immaculately-kept grounds of the former Haggerston Castle surrounded by beautiful mature woodland, has held the prestigious David Bellamy Gold Conservation Award for the last eight years.
Haggerston Castle encourages guests to use public transport and has also been recognised by walking and cycling clubs for its facilities including cycle hire.
